Meet Our Founder
A Champion Mindset
Benson Chepkwony is the founder, designer, and product tester of Zubryiz Athletic Wear.
As a student athlete at Southern Nazarene University (SNU), Benson was part of a record-achieving cross country team, winning the National Championship every single year from 2007 to 2010. His individual 8k and 10k running times still rank among the university’s all-time cross country performances.
He knows what it takes to win. He knows the discipline, the grit, and the sacrifice. And most importantly, he knows what high-performance athletic wear needs to do.
Benson personally tests every piece of gear before it’s approved for production. He runs in it, trains in it, and lives in it to ensure it meets his elite standards for durability, function, and comfort.
If a product can’t handle his workout, we don’t sell it.
Our Name
Our Signature
We’re often asked what “Zubryiz” means. For us, it’s more than our brand’s name—it’s a personal signature.
The name is a combination of Benson’s children’s names. He chose “Zubryiz” to be a daily reminder of what’s important. It’s at the core of our “why” and ensures that everything we do is built on the same values he treasures for his family: love, commitment, and integrity.
Zubryiz is our mark of accountability and our founder’s personal guarantee of quality.
